System Administrator
DigitalGate presents a unique opportunity to work as System Administrator in a fast-growing international company. We are specialized in embedded systems software and hardware solutions, with clients all over the world.
Your tasks:
- Providing application management and support, ensuring operational stability and effectiveness of numerous applications
- Assisting the IT solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools as well as problem-solving skills
- Implementing and monitoring system performance using defined standards and resolving or escalating problems for resolutions when appropriate
- Managing change requests, improving efficiency, functionality, and reliability together with writing installation guides, executing informal tests in the lab
- Supporting the business and conducting technical meetings with suppliers
- Participating in the execution and documentation of system testing along with ensuring that the testing activities are executed following the validation and test plan
Your Profile:
- 1+ year of work experience in a similar position
- knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure AD
- experience with Linux and Windows servers
- Networking: subnets, routing, access control lists, firewalls, and network traffic analysis is a plus
- You have a solid understanding of tools like Docker, OpenVPN
- Experience with: PowerShell, Python, Perl, and Bash; is a plus
- Finished Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a similar discipline or comparable education
- Language skills: English – fluent in written and spoken
